Shift Your Thinking!

Contrary to what some believe, home care shift scheduling is measurable!   Both effectiveness and trends in scheduling can be quantified via KPIs (key performance indicators) that maximize staff utilization.  As your agency matures and evolves, it is imperative to monitor KPIs and capitalize on the lessons they teach.  The scheduling module in your operating system should be a tool, not just to optimize operations, but also to gather the data needed to produce useful KPIs.  Analyzing these KPIs allows measurement of scheduling efficiency, identification of opportunities, and creation of actionable plans that elevate scheduling effectiveness to new levels.

In this session you will learn:

  • KPI Datapoints – what factors are important?
  • Suggested KPIs – why should we care?
  • KPI Mining – where do we find the data?
  • KPI Analysis – how should KPIs be interpreted?
  • Actionable KPIs – when do we make changes?

Think of every shift on your schedule is an opportunity for all.  Clients receive care.  Caregivers earn a living.  Your business accrues revenue.  That’s why it’s critical to realize the full scheduling potential of your operating system.

Staffing Solutions from over 1,000 Surveyed Caregivers

During this session, David will present actionable strategies that home care agencies can implement today to address their staffing challenges. Despite the challenging data, the insights gained from Wakefield Research among 1,000 caregivers August 4th and August 15th, 2023, can provide valuable information for home care owners, schedulers, recruiters and HR to develop creative solutions to meet their staffing needs.

20 Years: Three Golden Nuggets

In today’s rapidly changing business landscape, it is a remarkable achievement for any company to reach the 20-year milestone. However, through visionary leadership, relentless adaptation, and a trust in God’s ultimate plan, Richele Wilkins has defied the odds and thrives. In her session she will discuss how her company has successfully weathered economic downturns, administrative and caregiver turnover, and shifting market trends by fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement. As the company celebrates its 20th anniversary, it stands as a testament to the power of perseverance, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to excellence.

How to Successfully Market to Referral Sources

In this sought-after presentation, Melissa Bagley will discuss how to get into the doors of referral sources. She will discuss the dos and don’ts on how to establish yourself at these accounts.

Understanding The Impact Of Poverty On Home Care Workers

Despite the high demand for direct care workers overall, their wages remain low—the median hourly wage for this workforce was $13.56 in 2020. While “successfully employed”, these workers are underemployed which means their positions do not meet their abilities and
daily living needs. Low wages combined with a high rate of part-time work make it challenging for direct care workers to financially support themselves and their families. Given the focus on long-term care and the direct care workforce generated
by the pandemic, it’s imperative to refine direct care jobs and strengthen and stabilize the workforce. If you want to increase employee performance and productivity, retain the right team
members, and have an employer brand that helps you attract more of the right talent. You need to join this session to understand your employees.

Venture & Growth

Nowadays it can be next to impossible to try and get ahead all on your own. You need someone that can show you the ropes and help you make needed connections. Plus, trying to keep up with the never-ending stream of office tasks makes it difficult to focus on what’s truly important: Providing excellent care to your clients.

This is why Home Care Evolution exists. Steve “The Hurricane” and his team have empowered home care providers to attract total care patients, get better caregivers, and increase profit margins with less effort.

Streamline Your Processes

Steve “The Hurricane” has developed a foolproof program which enables start-up companies to quickly get ahead of the competition while helping existing businesses experience an explosive transformation beyond $10 million in revenue. Many of his clients double and even triple annual revenue in as little as 6 months.
