How to QUICKLY Update Your Operations Manual

re you struggling with training new team members?

Here’s a tip: When delegating tasks, have the original task performer document exactly how it’s done. Then, the new person should be able to follow those instructions and complete the task without any help.

If they can’t, the operations manual isn’t clear enough and needs a rewrite! The manual should ensure clarity and independence.

4 Ways To Retain Caregivers

4 Ways To Retain Caregivers

Caregivers. Everything is about caregivers. We can’t get enough of them, and we don’t have enough ways to keep them working for us. We spend tens of thousands of dollars every year, getting caregivers. And so, we must make sure that if we’re spending that kind of resources on getting caregivers, that we’re doing everything we can to keep them working for us. This is why on today’s episode of “A Drink With The Hurricane,” I’m gonna share four ways that you can help to retain your caregivers.

3 Tips To Pay Top Dollar To Your Caregivers

3 Tips To Pay Top Dollar To Your Caregivers

So the most recent home care pulse report came out just last week. And after having combed through that entire benchmark study, there were several findings that really jumped out to me as a high priority to address. And the first one of those is the caregiver wage.

As we know, caregiver turnover is at an all time high. There are caregiver shortages and labor shortages that are so tremendous, not only affecting healthcare, it actually is spread across all industries. Recently, on LinkedIn, I shared an article about how Verizon has decided in the United States of America, they are going to start all employees at $20 an hour. And this makes it much more difficult for people to attract caregivers because being a caregiver is a much more demanding job than selling cell phones, working at a Verizon store. And so when you think about the national average pay rate for a caregiver right now is around $15 an hour, $20 at Verizon will completely flood the market. So how do we combat this? Watch today’s video to find out!

3 Ways to Reduce Caregiver Acquisition Costs

3 Ways to Reduce Caregiver Acquisition Costs

Hey There, I was looking at the Home Care Benchmark Study and there were two specific graphics I had to address on this week’s Drink With “The Hurricane”. The first one was the cost of acquiring one client and the other was the cost of acquiring one caregiver. Now, a lot of people don’t calculate this, and it’s something that you really should do. Why? Find out more by watching today’s video.
